Garrett is a pastor, musician and horseback rider. With the Holman Prize, he would develop technological tools to help blind people navigate in public restrooms.
Sushil Adhikari
Sushil is passionate about activism and accessibility. With the Holman Prize, he would fund Empowerment through Entrepreneurship, which would help blind people in Nepal develop the tools they need to become entrepreneurs.
Sierra Hooshiari
Sierra has worked with the Microfinance Club. She would use the Holman Prize to launch BrainPOP, a smart soda with low sugar, and amino acids that help with cognition and mind-body balance.
Alexandria Brito
Alexandria practices Krav Maga, a type of self-defense and is a powerlifter. With the Holman Prize, she would train and compete in powerlifting competitions, with the hopes of qualifying for the 2020 Paralympics.
Christian Ohrens
Christian works as a DJ in his free time. With the Holman Prize, he would fund Blind Through Hamburg, which provides people with a walking tour under blindfold with a white cane of the city of Hamburg, Germany.
Natalie Devora
Natalie is an author and activist. With the Holman Prize, she would travel and collect stories from people of color with albinism around the world and share these stories in an anthology and documentary.
Troy Knight
Troy likes video games, animation and Dungeons and Dragons. With the Holman Prize, he would produce and market his novel, Blue Comet and hire voice actors to create an audiobook version.
