The Access Technology department at LightHouse is here to facilitate the use of accessible technology among people of all ages and levels of expertise, as well as groups and companies seeking education or consulting.

Blind & Low Vision
Skills Training

Our team of teachers and specialists (many of whom are blind or have low vision themselves) are highly trained and experienced in teaching low vision and nonvisual techniques and strategies.

Enchanted
Hills Camp

Enchanted Hills Camp and Retreat serves blind children, teens, adults, DeafBlind, seniors, as well as families of the blind.

EHC
2025 Sessions

We are thrilled to announce that Enchanted Hills Camp will officially open for registration in early February! Whether you’re a nature lover, adventure seeker, or someone looking to make lifelong memories, our camp has something special for everyone.

LightHouse
Little Learners

Working with their families, the program is designed to help young children, birth to age three, who are blind, DeafBlind, have low vision or neurological visual impairment, or whose developmental delays include blindness or low vision.

Low Vision Clinic

At LightHouse, we complement – not replace – the care provided by ophthalmologists and optometrists. Our low vision exams help patients regain independence by focusing on daily living, and we keep healthcare providers updated on all vision recommendations.

Request a
Volunteer

Our dedicated volunteers offer essential support and companionship to our LightHouse community members. Whether you’re interested in volunteering your time or requesting assistance, our volunteer services are here to help.

Youth
Programs

Our dynamic Youth Programs offer year-round social, recreational and educational opportunities for blind and low vision youth of all ages, and we welcome participation from around the Bay Area, state, and beyond.
