Danielle enjoys photography, painting and ceramics. With the Holman Prize, she would teach blind people how to make art and help them sell their art and get it displayed in galleries.

Bhadresh Shah
Bhadresh studied Computer Science. While in college, he developed an accessible digital format for learning math. With the Holman Prize, he would create an online platform where blind people can learn this digital format.
Sydney Pitcher
Sydney is an environmentalist. With the Holman Prize, Sydney would create Save the Cloud Juice, which would collect rainwater at schools and enable students to learn about sustainability.
Shawn Prak
Shawn has a passion for disassembling and reassembling electronics and building and repairing. With the Holman Prize, he would use his many skills to renovate his home.
Nicolas Dewalque
Nicolas is an athlete who hopes to qualify for the Paralympic Games in Tokyo in 2020. With the Holman Prize, he would train and complete in the Coolangatta Gold race in Australia which involves kayaking, swimming, running and paddling a surfboard.
Stephanie Campbell
Stephanie is a newlywed whose wedding received media coverage when she requested her guests wear blindfolds during the vows. With the Holman Prize, Stephanie would film the pilot for a sensory travel show, that explores destinations non-visually through the senses of sound, smell, touch and taste. She would then shop this pilot to television executives with hopes for a series pickup.
Ryan Hernandez
Ryan, who hosts an online radio show, is passionate about helping people who have experienced homelessness. With the Holman Prize, Ryan would create LGBTQ Disabled, a nonprofit for people who are homeless with disabilities who identify as LGBTQ.
Derrick Tuff
Derrick wants to lower the high unemployment rate for people with disabilities. With the Holman Prize, Derrick would start the Americans with Disabilities Employment Center, which would provide hands-on training to disabled individuals and then assist them with finding employment.
Terri Rupp
Terri is a writer, disability rights advocate and a marathon runner. She would use the Holman Prize to form Project Runstoppable, a program that empowers blind children through a running curriculum.
Ambrose Lasoy
Ambrose, who lives in Kenya, wants to change the perceptions of blindness in his country. He would use the Holman Prize to train blind people in the grafting and budding of plants.
